How to Find Us
We are located just a few minutes off the A40, between Witney and Burford along Burford Road. Just follow the brown signs!
Parking is FREE for visitors to the zoo and there is restricted disabled parking by the main entrance. You can also access your car at any point during your visit.
Directions from Oxford/London
- Head west onto M40
- At junction 8, exit onto A40 toward Oxford/Cheltenham
- Go through 3 roundabouts
- Take the B4477 exit toward Carterton/Minster Lovell/Brize Norton
- Turn left onto Brize Norton Road/B4477
- At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto B4477
- Turn right onto Burford Road
- Arrive at Crocodiles of the World, Burford Road, Brize Norton, Oxfordshire OX18 3NX
Directions from Gloucester/Bristol
- Head northeast on M5
- At junction 11A, take the A417 exit to Cirencester
- At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto the A417 ramp to A46/A40/Oxford/Stroud/Cirencester
- At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A436
- Go through 2 roundabouts
- Turn right onto A40
- Go through 2 roundabouts
- Turn right onto Burford Road
- Arrive at Crocodiles of the World, Burford Road, Brize Norton, Oxfordshire OX18 3NX
Parking
Crocodiles of the World has ample car parking, which is available free of charge. If the main car park is full, there is overflow parking behind the zoo, just follow the arrows top right of the car park. There is a disabled parking bay near the zoo’s main entrance. If you are bringing a coach or other large vehicle to the zoo, please call ahead on 01993 846353.
Notice to drivers
We politely ask all visitors travelling to and from Crocodiles of the World to watch their speed on the local rural roads as a respectful gesture to residents and to keep the local roads safe. We wish you a pleasant and safe journey.
Travelling by train
The nearest railway main stations to Crocodiles of the World are Oxford and Swindon.
The nearest local railway stations are: Charlbury (regular service) and Finstock (limited number of local services) and Long Hanborough.
The zoo is located just 8 or 12 miles away from either railway station respectively. The approximate taxi cost from Finstock is £15 for a single journey and the journey time is 20 minutes.
