Komodo Dragon Experience – Tickets

This experience is only available on selected Monday’s and Saturday’s at 2pm. If you wish to book on the day please contact the Zoo to check availability 01993 846353.

 

PLEASE NOTE: Age restriction of 6 years old applies

 

Our Komodo Dragon Experience gives you the opportunity to get up close to this giant lizard, helping to feed the animals their favourite snacks and learn about their way of life. This unique experience is available on Mondays and Saturdays at 3pm and is limited to a maximum group size of 2.

Animal Adoptions

Our keeper experiences are run by experienced members of our expert zoo keeping team and include the following:

 

  • Your session will begin with a safety briefing
  • You will then enter the Komodo Dragon building behind the scenes and into the Dragon enclosure with a zoo keeper for approx. 20 mins*
  • Opportunity to feed them their favourite snacks
  • Provide enrichment for them and watch their amazing senses go to work
  • Discover where they are from, and their special adaptations for hunting their prey
  • All participants will receive a special commemorative certificate.

 

*Please note: at no point will you be inside the same area as the komodo dragon there will always be safety barriers between you and the animal.
