Coronavirus update – Zoo Closure

We have made the decision to close Crocodiles of the World from 5pm on Sunday 22nd March until further notice. Please be assured that our animals will continue to be expertly cared for during this time and our aim is to retain our amazing and dedicated team thanks to the provisions recently set out by the government. We don’t know when we will re-open, but what we do know is that this is the right decision to help fight the pandemic.

We know some of you may have keeper experiences booked, or have purchased gift vouchers or e-tickets; please know we understand your concerns and will be in touch about this very soon but ask that you please bear with us whilst we oversee the logistics of closing the zoo.

This zoo started with nothing other than a passion for crocodiles. If you’ve visited the zoo you’ll know that sharing this passion for crocodiles exists in all the team. It isn’t really a job – it’s simply what we love to do and so we’d like to thank you for the support you have shown the zoo, helping us grow and helping to contribute towards vital conservation work. This passion will keep us going and we shall continue to share this with you on our website and social media, so please follow us, share our posts and keep in touch.

Whilst we fully understand most people are also facing difficult times, if anyone is in a position to make donation please visit our donations page.

All that’s left to say is please look after yourself and your families at this difficult time and we look forward to the day we welcome you back to the UK’s only Crocodile Zoo.
