Celebrating International Women’s Day 2021 with Croc Keeper, Clare!
Clare’s story…
Clare said: “I’ve been fascinated by the crocodilians for as long as I can remember. From actually being scared of them initially as a young girl watching them on TV, to then becoming more and more impressed as i continued to try to understand them, crocodiles were always going to be an obsession… and they still manage to wow me every day!”
Clare added: “Caring for so many amazing species here at Crocodiles of the World really is a dream 
come true! Just being surrounded by over 100 crocodiles daily is a real treat… sounds odd that one I know! I have too many job highlights to name but one of the most memorable has got to be witnessing our confident female Tomistoma lay her clutch of eggs in front of us! Not something I ever imagined I’d see, especially from such an elusive species. I’m excited to see what the crocs will surprise us with next.”
