Channel 5’s Big Week at the Zoo 2019
We were delighted to be part of Channel 5’s Big Week at the Zoo again this year and share an insight into some of the work we do behind the scenes here at the zoo.
The first episode witnessed the tense introduction of our male and female Chinese crocodiles who will hopefully find love and help the zoo learn more about this critically endangered species that have never been bred in the UK. The second episode saw JB Gill at the zoo helping to collect Saltwater crocodile eggs. Shaun Foggett, aka ‘Alligator Guy’ was also in the studio to help answer questions and sharing his passion for crocodiles.
