Sunday open days
Here at Crocodiles of the World, we are delighted to announce that from August 2011, the zoo will be open every Sunday for general public admission.
Opening times
Sunday open days start at 9.00am and finish at 4.30pm.
Prices and payment
At present we are open for general admission to the public only on Sundays. Numbers are limited and tickets need to be reserved.

- Children 3-16 years inclusive must be accompanied by an adult.

- Crocodiles of the World offers free entry for one-to-one carers accompanying disabled visitors.
Snappy Sundays
On the first Sunday of each month we hold a Snappy Sunday event - a bumper open day packed with even more events!
These include:
- Feeding demonstrations with our larger species
- Crocodile talks with "The Croc Man" and zoo founder, Shaun Foggett
- Professional photo opportunity holding a crocodile or alligator
- Competitions and quizzes for kids

Book your tickets online
Sunday open day tickets can now be booked and purchased online through the online booking system.
If you have already reserved your tickets for an upcoming open day by telephone or email, your booking will be recorded.
We only allow online bookings up to four weeks in advance and up to three months in advance for Snappy Sunday events.

To purchase more than one ticket, select the ticket type, then click Add to Cart. At this time, you have the option to purchase different types of tickets by clicking Continue shopping. When you are ready to complete your transaction, click Proceed to Checkout.
Sunday open day travel and parking
Please note we no longer use a shuttle service. The Car Park for the zoo is 400 yards from the entrance and is located on a small industrial estate next to to the zoo. Car parking is free and will be clearly signposted.
From Oxford: At Wolvercote Roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto A40 heading to Witney. Take the B4022 exit toward Witney East. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Woodgreen Hill. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Mill St. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Burford Road. Turn Right at the Crawley Turn.
From Cheltenham: Take the 1st right onto London Road. Continue onto A40. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Burford Road heading to Minster Lovell. Turn Left towards Crawley.

Drinks and confectionery will be available to purchase from the gift shop.
Crocodiles of the World is surrounded by some lovely country pubs, the closest being just 1/2 mile away. Why not combine your visit with lunch at one of the following local establishments?

Useful information
- There will be a comprehensive safety briefing upon arrival – participants will be fully briefed on what they should and should not do in any situation and they will be fully supervised at all times. Crocodiles of the World will take all necessary precautions and as long as participants do as they are instructed by the qualified keeper, then there should not be any particular danger in the activities.
- Children under the age of 16 must always be accompanied by a responsible adult – admission is included in price of experience.
- Please remember the zoo is a tropical climate, which is hot and humid – drinks are available in the gift shop.
- Free parking is available at the zoo. Please note that this car park is only available during event open periods.

Our guided tours are extremely popular especially during school holidays and on bank holidays. Consequently we advise you to book well in advance.
