Crocodile keeper experiences

So you want to know about shadowing a crocodile keeper? This exciting, one-of-a-kind guided experience is just £125 for adults or £75 for children.

What can I expect?

Crocodile keeper experiences are run by a member of our wonderful 'Croc Team' and include:

• Safety briefing
• Introduction and a talk on crocodiles
• Enclosure maintenance
• Food preparation
• Feeding of crocodiles
• Opportunity to handle hatchling or juvenile crocodiles

Numbers are strictly limited to no more than 5 per session to ensure the maximum opportunity for attendees.

Adult crocodile keeper experiences

Crocodile keeper experience are generally held on the 1st Saturday afternoon of every month, 1.30pm to 4.30pm. Check the dates below:

Prices and payment

CROCODILE KEEPER EXPERIENCE PRICES
Adult crocodile keeper experience	£125 per person
Junior crocodile keeper experience	£75 per person
Accompanying adult for juniors	Free
Additional adults (maximum of 4)	£13.00

Admission fees for additional members of your party are collected on the day.

Useful information

• There will be a comprehensive safety briefing upon arrival – participants will be fully briefed on what they should and should not do in any situation and they will be fully supervised at all times. Crocodiles of the World will take all necessary precautions and as long as participants do as they are instructed by the qualified keeper, then there should not be any particular danger in the activities.
• Hard-wearing clothes must be worn at all times.
• Children under the age of 16 must always be accompanied by a responsible adult – admission is included in price of experience.
• Please remember the zoo is a tropical climate, which is hot and humid – drinks are available in the gift shop.
• Free parking is available at the zoo. Please note that this car park is only available during event open periods.

Cancellation rules

• If we are given 14 or more days notice of a cancellation – a 50% refund will be applicable.
• If we are given less than 14 days notice of cancellation – we regret that no refund is possible.
• In circumstances where we are able to re-book another Keeper experience (regardless of the notice given) a 100% refund will be given.
