Current vacancies:

Parking Attendants

Volunteer Parking Attendants are needed at Crocodiles of the World to support various events throughout the year.

This would include the weekend open days, but we need help at other events as well.

• Who the position reports to: Shaun Foggett, Zoo Founder
• Time required per month: Saturday and Sunday Parking Attendants volunteer from 15 minutes before the zoo opens until 15 minutes after the zoo closes. Attendants volunteer 4 or more open days per month.
• Term of commitment: We would like a minimum of 4 days per month as minimum commitment but should you wish to do more that is no problem!
• Qualifications: Parking Attendants should be cheerful and willing to direct cars to appropriate spots and ensure that traffic flows smoothly.
• Training provided: There is initial training and continual on-the-job training for new Parking Attendants.
• Benefits for the volunteer: As a Parking Attendant, you interact with many people and have the opportunity to work as part of a fantastic team. As a volunteer you will receive a free zoo t-shirt and four free adult tickets every three months as a token of our appreciation for your commitment. There will also be the chance to explore the zoo before it opens to the public and help out with other tasks needed.

Successful applicants for vacancies at Crocodiles of the World may be required to have a Criminal Records Bureau check as a condition of employment.
