Shaun's incredible journey soon became the subject of great media and public interest from around the world.

Discovery Channel interest

Shaun first came to wide attention with the a one-off documentary which aired for the first time on the Discovery Channel on 16 February 2011.

The documentary follows his journey over a period of 5 months as he gives up his job as a joiner in the family building firm to kick-start his hopes - finding premises, designing enclosures and persuading the planners to let him move 21 crocs to an industrial unit.

Channel 5 miniseries

Following positive reviews and wider public interets, the documentary series was taken on by Channel 5 and Tigress Productions and made into a four-part TV miniseries. The series was first broadcast in August 2011 and took the story forward from the Discovery Channel's one-off documentary.

We follow Shaun as he tries to find the perfect site for his new crocodile park and as he gets to grip with the specialist knowledge he'll need to crocodile wrangle at croc parks in Florida and Denmark.

The final episode brings us right up to date with the final planning application decision.

The future

One question we get asked a lot is will there a second series of Croc Man.
