Make a donation - make a difference

The zoo is devoted to the worldwide conservation of crocodiles, alligators, caiman, and their habitats. Like most British zoos, Crocodiles of the World receives no government funds and relies entirely on money spent by visitors to continue its work.

So please support us by visiting the zoo or by making a donation to support our conservation, education and research work, both at the zoo and with the conservation projects we support all over the world.

Here's how your donation could make a difference:

£5 Could feed a Cuvier's dwarf caiman for a week
button
£10 Could keep one of our Chinese alligators healthy for a month
button
£25 Could pay the heating bill for our Black caiman enclosure for two weeks
button
£50 Could buy a UV lamp for our Cuban crocodile enclosure
button
£75 Could buy equipment to vaccinate our American alligator
button
£100 Could pay for a replacement water filter cartridge for our Siamese crocodile enclosure
button
£250 Could pay the veterinary bills for our breeding pair of West African dwarf caiman for six months

Why make a donation?

A portion of the money we receive in admission prices is donated towards crocodile conservation programs around the world. If you haven't visited us you can still get involved by donating money to us. It doesn't matter if you donate £5 or £500, every penny helps.

We run conservation and breeding programmes from the centre and work with international crocodile groups to conserve crocodiles and their environment and promote sustainability. Your donation, which will go toward the ongoing work of Crocodiles of the World, will help protect endangered crocodiles and their habitats.

Where does my money go?

The bulk of the money you donate goes toward the husbandry of our crocodiles. This includes food, heating, vetinary bills, and general maintenance. As with the money from admission prices, a portion of the money you donate goes toward conservation programs around the world.

Programs that Crocodiles of the World plan to actively support in 2011 include: Crocodile Specialist Group, Tomistoma Task Force, Gharial Conservation Alliance, and the Chinese Alligator Fund.

Thank you

Shaun would like to thank everyone for the support they have given Crocodiles of the World since since its founding. Without your support, the zoo would not be able to provide the fascinating and educational experience that it does.
